Cycling with the Elks

The Bikeatoga Bicycle Battalion mustered nearly a dozen enthusiastic bicyclists this past July 4th to decorate their bikes and ride down Broadway in the Wilton Elks Club Flag Day Parade. Hundreds of spectators lined the streets from North Broadway to Congress Park. George Packard, a Bikeatoga volunteer mechanic, said, "We rode so many circles around each other I got a little dizzy, but the crowd kept waving flags and cheering." A big thanks goes out to Bikeatoga volunteer Dan Lynch for organizing the Bikeatoga Battalion.
