Bikeatoga Membership

Here at Bikeatoga, we are an all-inclusive, non-profit organization that aims to construct a community of environmentally conscious people who enjoy riding bikes as a favorable pastime or primary mode of transportation. In an effort to build upon that community, we offer a membership program that allows our community a chance to become more involved in everything we do. We welcome all cyclists from all walks of life.

Bikeatoga Membership Policy

Bikeatoga is an all-inclusive non-profit organization. Membership in Bikeatoga is open to all, regardless of race, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or religion. We welcome people from all walks of life who support the Bikeatoga mission and live in or visit the Saratoga Region and its surrounding communities.

Other than Lifetime Membership, membership fees cover a period of 365 days. Members may upgrade to a higher level at any time. Upgrades establish a new yearly membership period.

Membership for minors requires a parent or guardian signature on the membership form.

If circumstances exist that would prevent a person from meeting any of the membership requirements, special arrangements can be made with the Membership Chairperson. Bikeatoga will never deny anyone a membership due to any determined financial, time or other constraint.

All Members in good standing have voting rights at the Bikeatoga Annual Board of Directors meeting.

The Board of Directors reserves the right to cancel membership for any person for just cause.

Membership Levels:

Workshop Membership Special: Sign up for any Membership Level at our Workshop during regular hours and get $10 off the fee.

Friend (Basic): $20 or 3 volunteer hours

Benefits:

A "Bicycle Benefits" sticker for discounts at various stores and businesses
Invitation to our yearly Bikeatoga Members Celebration
Voting rights at our annual Board of Directors meeting
Email notifications of special Bikeatoga and other bike-related events, volunteer opportunities
Bikeatoga programs for members.

Enthusiast: $40 or 6 volunteer hours

Benefits:

all the above, plus:

A Bikeatoga T-shirt (as available, pick-up at the Workshop)
One yearly Bike Inspection and Assessment
Discounted bicycle parts and gear (ordered through our supplier)
Use of bike stand, tools and mechanic advice at the Members Fix-it Nights (reservations required)
